@everyone It is 9 AM; welcome to FallFest VIII for 2018. Today we have a lot of fun panels for you and after a month of preparation between myself, our technical person Marie, Chas and others from OngoingWorlds we are able to bring you this event today. I am Josh Hina also known as RisaXSeph in certain internet circles and I will be our officiant of ceremonies today. I am the Lead GM of the TNU Project and have a long history in simming/role playing dating back to 2001 from Bravo Fleet and 2005 in Federation Sim Fleet as well as my own club Omega Fleet Community back around that time as well. I hope we all have an amazing day and get some fun. Now some items before we start...

Please remember that the panelists are here to help facilitate and provide their knowledge; please listen to your panelists and the moderators instructions but remember that you guys make this event what it is; feel free to give input and help guide the discussions. We will have open roleplays and all sections will have logs posted at the end on our website. Invite your friends, use our event page on Facebook and remember to tweet on Twitter using #OWFallFest. I just want to say a special thank you to everyone who will be participating today

and to everyone who has worked behind the scenes to organize this years's FallFest

FallFest, and its sister SciWorld, have been going strong for years and years and years

it's an amazing thing, and it's all made possible because you are here to share your passion for this community that gives each of us hours of joy and creativity

On that note I will be preparing a survey for the end of todays event so we can gather information on how you think this went; I will pass that information on to organizers of future events so we can be what the simming and role playing community needs.

It is sad that our time has come to a close people. As a final note I want to thank our panelists and volunteer moderators as well as @Marie T. and the OngoingWorlds staff for helping make today possible. Please remember to take the survey mentioned in #feedback. This server will continue to exist to allow community, help people find games and even just random screw around RP if people want that. If you have any questions please let me know but also use this closing ceremony time to discuss what you liked and did not like; so lets chat.
