@everyone Welcome to this years SciWorld virtual convention. I am Josh from TNU which is a member of Ascension Sims. We are the co-host again for this years SciWorld along with Ongoing Worlds. As a reminder please remember to follow #rules-and-staff during this event and treat all your fellow role-players with respect. Thank you for your attendance this year. I will be your master of ceremonies as it were.

This is the 21st year of this event even though some of the logs of past events have been lost it is a great honor for me to be a part of the simming/role playing history again this year by being a part of this with you all. We have a lot of fun events and panels today from multiple trivia sessions to talks and other discussions we hope you find something fun this year. Please consult the website in #panel-schedule for details on this years schedule.

This is my first year actually doing a panel for SciWorld so I'm pretty nervous

So usually we just keep the channels in archive

but I can see about exporting logs.

I have an "app" for that

They’re handy for quick reference instead of having to dig way back in the channels for a session.

I like posting them for my club too.

I think most types of online convention do that now.

I've started knocking out a world using a discord, kinda using it like a living wiki.

Worldbuilding by commitee?

You can't expect everyone who wants to read a specific panel to scroll through 8 hours of chat rooms

Alrighty; thanks for all those who attended. There were like 130 people here today and lots of people in voice. This was all really good.
